i'm new to building a track, so how do i build an awesome one, i know how to build ramps, but thats it. (how to make the track layout?) i have a huge pasture behind me house that i can build it on, BUT my dad doesn't want it to have huge jumps, only 3-6 ft. tall. so help me out guys.

for mine, I just rode around the course that I wanted it to be until it got worn in. and maybe use some of them little flags to mark corners and stuff!

It kinda depends on how technical you want it to be. If its real flat you have a lot of play in the design of your track. If you want to maximize your space, you may want to build your track like the letter E (like a bubble letter) you travel around the lines creating the E, maybe hard to understand. But if your ground has contours and rocks ect you may have to build around them just walk it a bit and decide where the easiest way to build a track will be. It will take some time for you to decide how you want your track to look and feel so take your time.

well since you have a 250ex you dont want anything over 3 foot high, you come to learn quickly that the suspension on the 250 isnt the greatest.

yeah wel obvioisly u dont know anything about landing. a 250 ex's shocks are about the same as a blasters and i was jumping forty feet off my rev 3 and the landing is 12 feet tall and it didnt bottom out all u have to know is how to build jumps and landings. u could jump a 250 ex over a 100 foot jump (if it could go that fast) and have a landing for the jump and not bottom out

when i had my 250ex i built a 35 foot double and jumped it all the time no probs but you do HAVE to know how to jump good or youll get thrown for real i did once not kool

for your track make some small jumps like knee high then step it up to like 25 foot double make the jump alittle under waist high with a noice rolled landing with plenty of saftey thing on the back

well how old and how much do you weigh. trust me, the only way to land somewhat soft is to hit a landing ramp just right. ive jumped my plenty far and it still doesnt land to soft. im 6'2 and 160 pounds. and also, if you ever ridden a blaster, the shocks suck too.

ight guys i'll try it when the water goes down. we've had 2-3 in. of rain and the creek thats behind my house gets flooded whenever Ft. Wayne, IN. gets a lot of rain, cuz it all flows towards us.
I might have to build hills around my track so water can't get in.
((hey 250EX king--where do you live in ohio? maybe we could ride together sometime. what year is yours? mines an '03, and its yellow. my neighbor/friend also has a 250EX. his is red and its an '01.))
