Ok this is probablly going to be a stupid question but me and my friend just got ok'd at work to get memorial day weekend off. heres my question. Will i be able to find any camping around horsefalls during that weekend? due to i know its going to be packed

I think it will be hard but It just matters what day you arive at HorseFalls. I will be down there Memorial weekend. Im staying at the KOA campground. By the way Wellcome to EXriders.

Thanks for the info guys. Can I actually do that go camp on the sand?. would the ranger's allow it?

yes you can go camp on the sand, but i think you might need a permit to do that on big weekends. I would try the Houser Overflow camping near the KOA. Its jsut a big gravel parking lot, but you can probably find sites there.

Everything is booked down here. Your best bet is to go out towards horsefall beach and camp out along the Bull Run Road. You'll need to buy a specail event pass when you get out there, but without a specific sand camping permit bull run road is about the only place you can camp.
