how do they keep from covering up the vin # when u have ur frame powdercoated

The guy I have do it puts a piece of tape over it. Then he will put some clear over it a lil bit later

mine looks like its just thinner over the vin number... u can still see it pefectly fine!

just take it off then use that glue stuff and put it back on?
