I was curious witch you think is the best exhaust system for the 450. I am definatley considering the DMC Alien pipe. Which do you like and what are the horse power changes??

I bought a LRD Pro 4 cause LRD makes badass pipes
and it is Chrome. and it comes with jets and a K&N with outerwears. It should be here this week so I'll let you know how good it is and post a pic of it on my bike. when I called K&K to order the LRD they told me that the Duncan Fat Boy 4 is one of there favorite pipes for the YFZ cause the power gains are clsoe to as good as the LRD and it isnt as loud.
I would Imagine the Curtis Sparks pipe is better than a DMC too.

For exhausts I would say either HMF or one of the newer sparks. I am actually selling my Blue Full system HMF. My friend has the sparks and we are even till about 5th gear and I pull him. HMF is a great pipe. Id get that..or ill sell you mine.

I HAD A DMC ON MY RAPTOR AND HAD NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS WITH IT, THAT PIPE IS JUNK. I USE A YOSH COMP PIPE AND LOVE IT SOUNDS GOOD AND HAS AN EXCELLENT POWERBAND.
JUST MY OPINION

it matters what kind of riding you dune, the best all around exhaust is sparks and prob HMF

My vote is for the HMF. I always here good things about the Sparks pipe as well.

i got a pro 4 full system on my YFZ, an i have yet to ride another YFZ tht pulls harder or hits harder, then mine. Only prob. i've had is it needs to be repacked a lil more hten what i would liek ot do. The FMF T-4 is also a good pipe i 've noticed.

I've ridden YFZ's with the Yosh slip on, a DRD slip on and an FMF full system. The DRD was by far the better pipe between those three. The Yosh had no low end. I can't comment on the others since I have had no experience with them. Did I mention the DRD was also the cheapest?

The yosh pipe does have a bad low end however once you get it spinnin it screams through the mid range and is like a banshee on top. this pipe and a -4 flywheel is a great dunes setup. I guess it all depends on the type of riding you do.

If you don't mind extremely loud pipes and want some real serious bottom-mid power get a TC full exhaust. www.tcracingengines. This exhaust makes some real crazy freakin power...mite wanna look into it.
