Just got back from SnakeHunt weekend at little sahara. Once again, an awesome trip. This was my 1st snakehunt though, we've always gone on spring break but we hit it up this time. Lots of quads and sweet *** dune buggies! Crazy stuff all weekend.

Anyone else go?? Any crazy stories?? Some of us probably seen each other and didnt know it.....

Oh man was it a blast, did anyone else see the white z71 hit the dune buggy friday night?

Man, I'm jealous of you guys!! I wanted to go really bad, but unfortunately my R is in the shop. I bet the weather was nice, nice for seeing some skin that is!! Was anybody complaining about the lack of camp spots since they closed down some of the camping next to the road at the north campground? Oh well...maybe I'll make it next year, hope everyone had a safe trip, and feel free to post some pics from the weekend!!

Joe

P.S. Did anyone make it into town to try some snake meat?? It's friggin awesome!!

We was in the North campground also! I was on the 450R with the #44 plates, Sparks exhaust, PRP +2 a-arms, and lonestar axle. Also had nerf bars and dune tires all the way around. I seen you, specifically remember the broken rear fender! how'd that happen? We got there late saturday night so we missed a lot of the "action". We were just in my red Z71 Chevy and my buddies were in a silver Chevy truck with a 16ft enclosed trailer. They were on a 426EX with #6 number plates, a black 250R (my quad I let my friend ride) and a yellow Z400.

Hey I seen you there. I talked to you on a dune about the jetting on your 450r. I had an fmf pipe and hrc kit. Thanks for the info by the way.

Yeah, yeah....I remember. Whats up man? Ya ever make any changes to your set-up? I hope what little knowledge I have helped ya out man.

Posted by: chris keller

I have a k&n air filter on the way and Maxey's Honda is going to run some test to dile in the jetting. I think there going put a jet kit on it.

Maxey's Honda is in OKC right? Ya in the OKC area? That K&N Filter will help out, make sure and get a OuterWear PreFilter for it especially with riding up at the dunes. I run K&N filter with OuterWear on my 250R with open airbox lid. I just decided to change it up a lil' bit on this 450 and go with the Sparks foam filter......works great so far!
