I have a lt250r and in the manual it says to run 20:1 i kno thats too much oil wut should i be running i was told 32:1

That's probably the most common ratio that people use. You should use the ratio that the oil manuafacturer recommends because different kinds of oil are mixed best at different ratios.

Well I dunno..

My buddy has a blaster, and I was gonna mix some oil for him, so I looked on the net...

My buddy told me 40:1..

The internet said its recomended 32:1

then again some guy did a test at 20:1 and 27:1 and he said at 27:1 there was so much scuffing of the cylinder walls and piston, he wouldne't recomend running over 27:1..

I used 50:1 in my 250R and never had any problem.

I run 32:1 in my R, it runs great and doesnt foul plugs. I would say you could run it a little leaner than that. I would rather be a little rich though than rebuilding all the time.

I would go 32:1, we run that in our blaster, & my brother runs that in his R's, we haven't fouled a plug in the blaster in more than a yr

we also run Dumonde Tech Synthetic

never had a problem w/ it!!

We run 32:1 in our shee and haven't had a problem with it yet. Doesn't foul plugs either.

I ran a 32:1 ratio and it ran great alot less mees than the 20:1

i ran hr-1 at 50-1 and never had a problem in my shee, and i beet it. always run what that oil recamends, a manuel will tel you to run a ratio that is to what oil they are using! remember the more oil the leaner the air to fuel ratio is due to the oil takes up the (room) the gas would fill in the mixture!!!!!!!

32:1 is the the way to go. I used Golden Spectrum oil in my RM 125 and was the fastest bike in the area!

You will be just fine with 32:1.
