I am going to switch from the Honda GN4 to either Mobil 1 or Amsoil. I know where I can get the Mobil 1, but where can I get the Amsoil?? I have seen that you can get it on their web site, but I don't want to have to order every time I need an oil change. Is there a place where they sell it in like a car parts store like an autozone? I live in Kansas, so if anybody from Kansas knows where I can get some, let me know!!

I would just get the mobile 1...its better anyways & sounds like it is easier to buy for you....thats all I will ever run now

I switched to Mobil 1 last year and it performed MUCH better than the stock Honda oil, but since I switched my sled to AMSOIL products, and became a Preferred Customer, (which I can get all their products at wholesale price), I'm going to try out their 4-stroke oil. I'll probably be putting it in this weekend. I'll start a topic later in the summer about how I liked it compared to Mobil 1.

10w/40 actually cooled it 10*, It is good oil ,check out oil test's with google

Do you have a store called fleet farm around? They sell amsoil products there, or find a distributer in your area...

I get my Amsoil from a sponsor of mine who runs his own off-road shop. Unless you become a preferred customer with Amsoil, you gotta pay full price I think.

I run 0w/40 Amsoil in my 400 and I am am very impressed with it. I also run the Amsoil oil filter...a little pricey but less changes. I won't use anything else now....I'm a believer, lol!

is Mobil 1 ok for a wet clutch. i know you cant use any regular motor oil. is it synthetic? what oil filter do ou guys use?

I can get you Amsoil. But you would have to pay shipping. You should be able to find a dealer near you. Help ya save some money.

Quad18star, i didnt find any atv 4-stroke oil. only amsoil 2 stroke. does anybody know where i can get it in Nj. any distributers near?

I know we carry an Amsoil 4 stroke oil cuz I run it in my quad and I work with this company . Try giving them a call .... toll free 1-800-265-2970... if we got it on the shelf at our retail stores .... our warehouse most definetly should have it ...(unless its already sold out from our suppliers ,.... this happened last year).

I am a dealer and can get you any amsoil products needed. Amsoil is a far better product then mobil 1. I use amsoil in eveything including my atv's and snowmobiles. I have used amsoil for years before becoming a dealer. If anyone is ever interested in order you can Contact me anytime.
