I have an 86 trx250r with a serious problem. While riding the other week the bike bogged down and died. I changed the plug, it fired up but about 10 minutes later it died again. The only way to get it to start was to pull start it. I got it home and pulled the plug but was not getting any spark. I don't think its the stator but I could be wrong. Could it be the voltage regulator, rev box, or coil? Any help is appreciated.

I had that same problem years ago on a Yamaha RD 2 smoke street bike. It was the CDI (ignition module).
