at first my quad ran for about 2 hrs then blew a fuse then it was like every 20 min. now its at like 20 sec. im preety sure a wire is shorted out but is there ne other explanatiion also when i trace the wires what can i look for

ok...my problem is solved for now...my positive wire that goes into the batter is really frayed fro mbeing bent back & forth so many times...so what I dis was cut the rubber around the wire & then take the metal piece off, had to use pliers to open it up....then I clamped down again on a better piece of the wires that werent frayed...this helped alot. in other words...check for loose connection & get one of those battery light tester things where you can touch wires & crapto see if theirs current going through them
