A guy on a honda 50 3 wheeler trying to catch his 6 yr old son on a xr 50. lol

Posted by: lukester720

the track was smooth and in great shape. It is a mile and a quarter long and will be longer when completed. The trails were nice too! they wern't all rutted out like i'm used to. There is still a ton of room for new trails to be made. This is a great place to ride and i'm sure i will see some of you there one day! l8ter.

Posted by: Cly

Looks like fun.......Where is that place at?I wouldn't mind going there sometime.....

Cly

Posted by: lukester720

Its on bucks run road in bedford, ky probably 15 minutes from madison, in. The website has directions. www.bucksrunmxpark.com

Posted by: redroost85

lukester, that looks like an awesome place to ride!

Nothing like a groomed track, eh?

Posted by:

WOW

That track looks nice.. I see some nice jumps too.....

Posted by: lukester720

Hey guys this track was smoooth. Not a rut on it. I talked to the guy that's helping run the place and he said they have a d-5 bulldozer to keep it in good shape. If the weather holds out I might go thursday about noon if anyone else wants to go. I need to follow someone around so I can see how I'm supposed to hit some of these jumps. I'm used to haspin the no air capital of motocross. Let me know if any of you guys are going.

Posted by: 4fiddyR

Wish I was closer, I'd love to go around there about 5 laps, then request oxygen!

Posted by: lukester720

No doubt! PA is quite a ways away. You should post some pics of where you ride sometime. I like to see new stuff.

Posted by: WhiteZee

i went riding with my friends alday on sunday, the track is looking nice, but i have a complaint about the trials. there is barbed wire all over the place, and someone almost got hurt, she was coming down a trial, and fliped end over end because a piece of barbed wire wraped around her utility. also my friend is out a 6 ply holeshot because of the barbed wire.

Posted by: lukester720

That sucks, when i was up there the other day one of the guys that was riding said something about the barbed wire. hopefully they will get it out of there soon.

if anyone is going to be riding there tomorrow let me know.

Posted by:

I can't wait ta hit this jump.....

Posted by: lukester720

I seen a guy hit that jump on a scrambler 500 I couldn't believe he even tried but he made it.

Posted by: kyex40047

The Track is very bumpy and is really rought. I was constantly going off track because I could not stop because of all the bumps. There are not a whole lot of trails and barb wire there sucks I was the one who is out a holeshot because of it.

Posted by: lukester720

What day were you there? I was there last friday and there wasn't a rut on the whole track. I'm going to ride there tommorow so I guess we will see.

HOw bad did the ground shake when he landed

I had an old polaris sport 2 wheel drive and would jump just about anything with it. Jumps are possible with ease but the landings were feirce. I even had aftermarket shocks on it and it still was horrifing..

It got stolen and i've been on a honda ever since.. but my 1st trip out to the MX track on the 400ex I blew out both front shocks...

Posted by: lukester720

Looked like a pretty hard landing for sure. I land hard mosst of the time because I'm not very good at riding.

Ended up going to haspin today instead. The small track was in good shape but the big track sucked bad. I had to ride by myself because I couldn't get anyone to go.

As soon as I get thru this weeding and honeymoon I'll be meeting you at Bucksrun a lot more often.

Posted by: hook

going to bucks run sat too hope to see some of u there

Posted by: lukester720

How was it saturday? Did you have a good time?

Posted by: Jeff@TireBalls

It was a little dusty and I wish they would keep the dozer out of the woods Other than that it was pretty fun.

Posted by: ranger400ex

Shoulda came to Madison....we had a great time, and the new courses are $ucking awesome.

Meeker, Seananny, Santor Racing Boys, and meself ran for about 5-6 hours on saturday....my hands are freaking killing me.

The new dale screams....wow. finally got some real seat time in, hopefully Loretta's will be a better showing.

PS if you try and wheelie up a hill...you will wind up on your head...just a piece of personal advice.

Posted by: ranger400ex

We named a new hill there, that is quite a challenge. Honda-did-Yama-almost-Canna-flip-Hill.

This getting used too a twist throttle for the first real time...is a hard and sore reality

Ben

Posted by: WhiteZee

Posted by: Jeff@TireBalls

Posted by: lukester720

Sounds like it was a good time! I can't wait to get back up there and check out some of the new trails.

lol, that was the only trial i had a problem with the whole time, my POS is horrible for hills.

Posted by: lukester720

Are any of you guys going to bucks run on sunday 4-18-04? I hope to be there around noon or so if anyones coming out.

Posted by: CatMostFeared

Doult it were going to TN. for the GNCC race Saturday

Posted by: lukester720

Good luck at the race guys.

Posted by: WhiteZee

im going to LBL this weekend, but next sunday (the 25th) kyex40047, i and a couple people from school are going to be riding at bucksrun, hopefully.

Posted by:

Tell the owner ta keep the bulldozer outa the woods,,unless he plans on having people bring their dozers out to ride all weekend...

and from what i hear the jumps on the MX track have no lip on them so quads have no chance in having a good time because they can't jump and clear the jumps.

Somebody go out there and give this guy some pointers on setup up a trail and track....

amen

I just want to make sure everyone knows that I am no longer
involved in the set up of BR. I have a reputation that is in
danger of being tarnished here. I just want to make it clear.
I am not responsible for any track conditions or trail building
for the time being. I hope to be involved again in this pro-
ject or one like it sometime in the near future. But don't
blame me for anything that goes on over there for now. I
know Bucks' Run can make it and I want to see it happen, but
I have my doubts in the way its being managed.

Posted by: CatMostFeared

No bodys blameing you dman we just hope you could tell the owner that most trail riders like trails not dirt roads

Posted by: lukester720

I talked to Gene sunday I believe he owns the place and he said that they are going to put steeper faces on the jumps and that the bulldozer trail just goes along the outside of the property for beginners and so people don't get lost. I had a good time sunday except i forgot my gloves and my hands are blistered up like no other.

Posted by: CatMostFeared

I'm going tomorrow Apr28 can anyone make it.
Need some seat time before Sparta

Posted by: lukester720

I wish I could, but I will probably be there the 29th. Either there or haspin I need to try to get the suspension dialed in.
