broke nerf nets....sew them back??

I broke both of my nets today when i was riding...I jumped and landed front tires way 1st and both feet broke the nets on both sides.. Im thinking about sewing them back because i havent seen them for sale anywhere.....what do yall think??

i did the same thing to mine, and i used a rivet gun. they hold up great, ive had them riveted all summer and they havnt come undone yet. that is what i would reccomend.

You could just use duct tape & bailing wire, that's how I hold my chain on

you can buy replacment nets. ive seen them somewhere but i cnt remember where.

What I did was make a hole on both side from where it was ripped, lined up the holes, put a small boldt through it with 2 big washers on each side, tightened it as much as possible, havent had any trouble yet, similar to thr rivet idea, just boldts instead, some people think it looks kool, you cant tell it was ripped cuz the washer covers it

that sounds dangerous.. breaking thru the nets like that.. seems like you can break your ankle easily.. that's why i dont want nerfs..

You can buy Replacment Nets for AC nerfs at Nac's racing. I did the same thing and just ordered some new ones. They cost about $20

First, d33pt, I would rather tear the nets and be ok then have my foot go off the peg and be severly mangled by the peg slamming into my acelies tendon. About the nets, are yours removable, or looped around the bar and riveted on?

they are removable...but there a pain in the ***** to get off...i took one piece out and was sweatin!!LOL,...but yea,,,i can remove them if i need to

The nets from nac's are for ac nerfs. I don't think they have DG net. But you should be able to call DG directly and ask them to sell you some nets.
