Does anyone know the skinny on Christmas Valley dunes. How Big of an area and how tall are the dunes? Can you run paddles? I have heard the roads getting there are pretty dusty. Any info greatly appreciated.

Yes, i'd guess nearly twice as far.
Look at a map, make a triangle from Bend, Burns and Klamath Falls, Chrismas Valley is about in the middle.

An over-the-road truck driver buddy of mine that hauls hay out of that area just found out about them the other day and suggested we go there some time. Are there any good hill climbs? Any decent place to set up camp? Thanks

Never been there to ride my wife and i drove out there on they way back fro Klamath There is a pretty nice camp spot no wood or toilet though do not know if the bring them there or not. Friends of mine in Klamath (older) said it was quit a bit of fun.
